Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: At least six months before your wedding, though I’m currently accepting bookings as far out as two years.

Q: Do you do videography as well?
A: No. I’m a small boutique photographer who specializes exclusively in photography. However, I would be happy to recommend some amazing videographers who specialize exclusively in videography.

Q: How long will it take to see our photos?
A: Sneak peeks are available the same day. Within one week you will be able to see a blog post with even more photos (150+ for weddings). Full delivery typically occurs within 4 to 6 weeks.

Q: What will you wear to our wedding?
A: I wear all black dress clothes. It’s your day, and I do my best to simply blend in the background.

Q: How many photographers will be at our wedding?
A: That depends on the package you choose. For small weddings and the events leading up to your wedding, I do everything. For the larger packages, I work with another main photographer to ensure we capture everything. He isn’t simply a second photographer – he has his own photography studio and is incredibly talented. Together we document your entire wedding day.

Q: How long will you stay at our wedding?
A: I only offer full service photography for the whole day. I don’t track how many hours I’m available for your wedding. I’m there from the very beginning until I start packing up about half an hour before the event ends.

Q: Will you be the one shooting our wedding?
A: Yes! I do everything, from engagement shoot to helping you select photographs after the wedding to print. If you choose one of the large packages there will be another photographer with me, but I am there every step of the way.

Q: Do you travel?
A: Yes! I love to travel. Travel to the Willamette Valley in Oregon and within the tri-state area is complimentary. If you’re getting married outside of those regions contact me to find out more.

Q: Do I get rights to my photos?
A: Yes! You get all rights to print and share your photos without watermarks. All photos you receive will be fully edited, and you will have access to a non-watermarked gallery of all your photos.

Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: No. All my clients receive the same Amanda-lee Seely experience, so everyone pays the same. However, I do offer several tiers of packages that work with various budget sizes, as well as reduced fees for weddings that take place on non-holiday weekdays (Monday through Thursday). Contact me for a price list. But do keep in mind that photography is one of the most important parts of your wedding budget! You can’t make great wedding albums without great wedding photographs, so if budget is a concern focus on finding the right photographer. You can always order the prints and albums after the wedding!

Q: Do you offer custom packages?
A: Yes, if one of my set packages doesn’t work for you then we can work together to create one that does.

Q: Do we have to do an engagement session?
A: Yes! All engagement sessions are complimentary because they are such an important part of my process. Not only is it a good opportunity to try hair and makeup for your wedding, but it also gives me a chance to get to know you as a couple. During your engagement session I learn how you interact with each other, which helps me understand how to approach your wedding day. Engagement sessions are a must!

Q: Do you do portrait/family/newborn sessions?
A: No, at this time I am not taking any commissions other than weddings.
